| Allen Wests comments that there are nearly 80 Communists in the House just wont go away. And CNN is making sure of that. CNN anchor Soledad OBrien, for example, had a testy exchange with West on Thursday morning, confronting him on the remarks and demanding he name names. From the beginning, OBrien was combative, vehemently disagreeing with Allen West regarding Ted Nugents controversial recent comments. Then they turned to Wests own remarks. After playing the clip, OBrien asked him about it, and West said that Communists have renamed themselves progressive but the ideology has stayed the same. Mediaite picks it... |

Heres the link to Stand Up Floridas website which makes no attempt to hide their contempt for West. | Yes, its true that Representative Allen West (R-FL) hit a Porsche this morning, but it was to bring attention to a bill that he is co-sponsoring in Congress called the Safe Teen and Novice Uniform Protection (STANDUP) Act H.R. 1515. West spoke to students, educators, and law enforcement officials at Jupiter High School emphasizing his support for the bill after he took the simulated driving test that shows what can happen when you text and drive. "If you're gonna hit something, hit a Porsche," West said as his test came to an end. |

| The Miami Herald is reporting that Martin County Sheriff Robert Crowder will enter the Republican primary race in the yet to be finalized 18th Congressional District that will have him facing off against Congressman Allen West. Crowders entrance to the race is very peculiar, as his endorsement of Democrat Gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink in 2010 over now Governor Rick Scott is still very much remembered by Martin County Republicans. |

| As celebrity scandals go, its probably second only to the O.J. trial: Woody Allen leaving Mia Farrow, his girlfriend and muse of 14 years, for her adopted teenage daughter Soon-Yi. That was way back in 1992, and what was unthinkable then has long since come to pass: Woody Allen has been forgiven by the public at large. His most recent film, Midnight in Paris, has made over $56 million at the US box office to date his highest-grossing film ever. Along with Elaine May and Ethan Coen, he contributed a one-act play to Broadways Relatively Speaking, which opened this... |

| Allens own wife and family have donated money to Planned Parenthood in the past. In 2000, Allen responded to a questionnaire, saying that abortion should be legal prior to viability. The Republican National Coalition for Life said Allens view, can only be described as pro-choice, not pro-life. Again, its not that Allen is crazy for abortion, but he is not one of us on life. |

The new poll found that former Govs. George Allen (R) and Tim Kaine (D) remained neck and neck in the race for the states open Senate seat, while President Barack Obama was statistically tied with Mitt Romney, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination. Kaine took 45 percent to Allen's 44 percent, matching the 1-point margin the polling institute found in its last two surveys of the race in June and September. The race is... |

| KABUL - General David Petraeus, Washington's new intelligence chief, handed over command of American and coalition forces in Afghanistan to Gen John Allen yesterday, as Kabul's international allies draw up exit plans from the 10-year war. The handover took place at a ceremony in Kabul, just hours after a key adviser to Afghan President Hamid Karzai was shot during a raid on his home in the capital - the second top ally killed in a week. Gen Petraeus, who served as commander of the United States-led international force for one year, has claimed some progress against Taliban militants with troops... |
Allen West on Obama Backing Palestinian Demand: Could Be the Beginning of the End for Israel

| Tea Party Rep. Allen West has just issued a response to Obamas announcement that he backs the Palestinians demand that Israel redraw its borders to where they were in 1967. Not only did he call the move the most egregious foreign policy decision the administration has made, but he also feared this could be the beginning of the end as we know it for the Jewish state. The pre-1967 borders endorsed by President Obama would deny millions of the worlds Jews access to their holiest site and force Israel to return the strategically important Golan Heights to Syria, a known... |

| Right now, Congress is debating the best way to get our fiscal house in order and cut spending. A good first step would be to eliminate the money taxpayers spend on subsidies to major oil companies. We're going to have to make a lot of tough choices, but this one is easy. I strongly support putting an end to federal tax giveaways for big oil companies because they aren't necessary and they'll cost taxpayers over $21 billion over the next decade. Unfortunately, even as gas prices rise and oil profits grow even more, George Allen and Jamie Radtke prefer the... |

The Democratic Kaine shows strength in the powerful and populated Northern Virginia, while the Republican Allen polls well in the rest of the state. | Former Virgnia Governor and Senator George Allen has decided to run for his old seat. Allen famously lost his Senate seat in 2006 during the Democratic wave year to former Secretary of the Navy Jim Webb. Webb was mainly a single-issue, anti-Iraq War voice, and decided not to run again next year. Along with this decision came scrambling in both parties to assess the new situation. In Webb's place, the Democrats decided to run former Governor Tim Kaine. Kaine was also the chair of the DNC. Allen has also tossed his hat into the ring-- although he may also have... |
